Nation Should Invest In Video Games, Says Study

By Alex Chen | January 01, 0001

The Joan Ganz Clooney Center at Sesame Workshop released a study today that names video games as an untapped federal resource for change in America’s youth. Game Changer: Investing in Digital Play to Advance Children’s Learning and Health admonishes health officials, educators, philanthropists, universities, policymakers, holy rummy the games industry and the federal government to get off their butts and start shelling out money for research.(new Image()).src = 'https://capi.connatix.com/tr/si?token=995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c&cid=872d12ce-453b-4870-845f-955919887e1b'; cnx.cmd.push(function() [[link]] { cnx({ playerId: "995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c" }).render("79703296e5134c75a2db6e1b64762017"); }); “Despite their reputation as promoters of violence and mayhem, digital games have in [[link]] fact been shown to help children gain content and vital foundational and 21st-century skills,” the study reads. “Digital games are here to stay and offer the country a rare opportunity to leverage children’s already established enthusiasm in order to reform education and promote healthy development.” Game Changer proposes research and development funding for video games as well as partnerships between game makers royally rummy and the government. Dance Dance Revolution and the Wii both get a hearty shout-out as does the Serious Games Initiative and Games for Change. But the biggest point the study seems to make is the need for grownups — particularly parents — to get involved early and often when their kids encounter games. You can check out the text of the study here and if you missed today’s two-hour webcast discussing the study, keep your eyes on this space for the video upload. I really enjoy playing the slot games here. The variety is amazing, from classic reels to modern video slots with interactive bonus rounds. Every spin feels like an adventure, and the graphics and sound effects are top-notch, making the experience immersive and exciting. The progressive jackpots are thrilling, and it's exciting to watch the jackpot amounts grow as more players spin the reels. I hope they add even more jackpot slots because it adds a lot of excitement to the gameplay.

The promotions and bonuses offered are very generous. I especially love the daily free spins and deposit bonuses. They make playing even more enjoyable and increase my chances of winning big. The platform keeps me engaged for hours every day. The payout process is generally smooth and reliable, though occasionally it takes longer than expected. Overall, I feel confident that my winnings are safe and will be credited properly. I love the overall aesthetic of the platform. The animations, visual effects, and sound design make the gaming experience more dynamic and immersive. It's one of the reasons I keep coming back.
